River’s Edge Goat Milk
If you have never tried goat milk fresh from the farm, you must try River's Edge Goat Milk, as you will find it better than any you have tasted before. Most people can’t tell a difference in taste between River’s Edge Goat Milk and cow milk.
The biggest difference between goat milk and cow milk is digestibility. Goat milk has smaller fat and protein globules; therefore it is easier to digest than cow’s milk. Goat milk is often given to young children as a transition from breast milk at the time of weaning. Seniors and cancer patients have also found our goat milk to be an easily digested source of nutrition.
Our milk is full fat, pasteurized, but not homogenized. Nothing added, nothing taken away. Delicious! Try it with a favourite cookie!
River’s Edge Goat Cheeses
At River's Edge we create our cheeses right on the farm. If our family doesn't like them, we don't make them! We offer creamy chèvre; plain, with garlic flowers or with dill, and a Mediterranian style feta.
River’s Edge Goat Yogurt with Probiotics
River's Edge Goat Yogurt
Our delicious goat milk is turned into yogurt by adding a probiotic yogurt culture (Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus acidophilus). That's it. No sugar, no thickeners. Our favourite way to eat River’s Edge Goat Yogurt is mixed with our favourite cereal and topped with fresh fruit. It is a great ingredient for smoothies, sauces, dressings and dips.
