Ingredient explanation:
Ceteryl Alcohol: a mixture of fatty alcohols consisting predominantly of cetyl and stearyl alcohols found in plants like coconut, palm oil, shea butter and cocoa butter. Ceteryl Alcohol is used in lotions, creams and other cosmetics as a stabilizer to thicken and emulsion and to keep the product from separating. 
Caprylic Glycerides: Derived from coconut oil and glycerin. Works as an emollient, dispersing agent and solvent. Penetrates the skin and provides a lightweight, non-greasy barrier of lubrication. Helps with the delivery of vitamins.Helps with thickness and spreadability of a moisturizer.
Alkyl Fumarate: skin conditioning agent- emollient. This chemical is part of the citric acid cycle, which is the process cells go through to create energy, even human cells do this.
Germall Plus: a preservative! this helps keep unwanted microbes such as bacteria, molds and yeasts away. Paraben free.
